So Far...

Only 1 person has taken offense to my hubby's email to his co-workers about the company holiday party. His boss told him to keep emails of this nature constrained to a "list" of people. He has one woman to cut next time. (She didn't like the 'baby Jesus' part).

"The greatest day of the year for DeCare/Delta employees is nearly upon us.
The company Christmas Party (or Holiday Party - for those of you who do not love the baby Jesus)!  Sure, those 26 pay days scheduled throughout the year are nice incentives, but this is really the day we work for all year long.

In keeping with the standard traditions of the corporate holiday party, this is the one time of the year you can tell off your boss, make out with co-workers, and violate virtually every HR policy with complete impunity.

This year's change of venue has prompted a new, and upgraded, location for the "Pre-Party" - Granite City Food & Brewery on Pilot Knob, just a couple of blocks away from the Eagan Community Center.  I called ahead to reserve some space (to which they said no), and told them to brew up some extra beer for us (to which they said no).  So come have lunch and/or hang out before the Holiday Party.  We will be occupying general seating between noon and 3:00.

Also, I'm sure I have missed people on this e-mail, so spread the word to your friends/co-workers (just the cool ones, though).
