Remember this blog back a couple months ago? The one where I talked about how my license is suspsended and I had to go pay a bunch of shit, get it renewed, blah, blah, blah.

Well I still haven't gotten my new license in the mail. After spending an hour at the government center, lots of $$$, and filling out forms, getting receipts, and being told EVERYTHING Is taken care of...

The online DMV says my license is still suspended. WTF?

There are some people that want the government to run healthcare, their retirement plans, and their kid's schools, and this, and that, and the other agency. All despite the fact that the overpaid government can't even manage small tasks like sending me a driver's license.

So help me Jeebus.

Shouldn't you get your license right there an then once you pay all your fines?

You get a paper receipt and then in the mail you get the actual card...So I have a receipt that says everything is okay (which is now expired) but my record was never actually fixed. So if I were pulled over for something, I could potentially go to jail.

Tara they dont send it... You need to go in person... be really nice and calm... when they tell you no... lean over in a slightly insane way and throw out alittle tourette like symptoms((( vulgarity))) and ask what you should do than...tell them your having flash backs and can't be outside to long. Fuck I don't know... Have daniel drive you everywhere and call you mrs daisey. :) miss you hooker! see ya thursday night?

I'm having sorta the same problem. It all started when I moved to a new state. These backwards people can't get it into their cornfed heads that I travel and live in two different states. So my address is gonna be different. I'm still working around the problem. Many states send you your license only by mail. Some will do both. It really depends how much corn they eat! or in the south it's too much sun = )

oh, TDrag best of luck. May we both find a license in our hands and soon! Even tho my current license is fine, if I get pulled I've been warned that my license is way past the 30 days for moving to a new state. Woot for me!!! hang in there!
