Where did I put those keys? Why am I standing in the closet holding one sock?

I had an idea last night, and I want to write about it before I forget. Last night while playing COD2 with my 2old4Duty buds, someone shared some clan stuff with us, and out of my mouth popped something like,"My other clan is 2old2remember. . .", at which point we all got a pretty decent chuckle. I had never thought of that until the moment before it came out of my mouth.

This morning, I was recalling the events from the night before (the ones I could remember), and had a brainstorm. Mind you, it was a small storm because of limited space. Wouldn't it be cool to have an actual clan by that name for people age 40+? I love playing with most of the people on this site, but the reality is, I'm 20 - 30 years older than probably most of the members. This is not mental age. I'm about 18 in that department, but my body continues to go along with life without my mind. Last night in a room of clan mates from a different group remarked,"Sorry about you getting two broken legs." to one of the members of my team. It took me a moment to realize he was talking about me and a younger female member. It was probably said with humor intended, but it ticked me off, not so much for myself, but for the other cheek of the butt of the joke. For that matter, for those that don't know, your reaction time is affected by the aging process. And, the next couple of games I kicked butt, remarked"There are your two broken legs", and then Elvis left the building. Wait, I almost forgot the topic of my post.

I really could see this being a possible clan. I don't and can't take it on by myself, because I don't know what to do. Besides, I am not as techno - savy as others. I'm decent, but I don't do sigs and the other cool stuff some of you guys can do. There is some real talent out there. Some of you are actually 40+. So, that's my idea for today. What do ya think? I wouldn't dream of quitting 2old4Duty and a couple of my other clans. They kid me a lot, but it's all in good fun. Besides, I don't want to "chronologically segregate". I'm not QUITE ready for assisted living. LOL
