Halo 3 Anxiety

OK. So I hopped on the Halo 3 bandwagon. The problem is, I was terrible at Halo 2. Not just bad, the absolute pits! I started gaming a couple of years ago, and ventured into a Halo room maybe three times. Clueless. I couldn't get a grip on the maps, I didn't know the wapons . . .Everyone else had been playing since the original Halo came out. So, I abandon ship, so to speak, and got hooked on COD and GEARS. I am streaky, but I do well enough to enjoy it.


When I get this game, I would really like to get some tutoring on how it works. I'm even further behind, because I didn't spring for the beta. If anyone that's on the site is patient enough to do some coop with me, etc, I'd appreciate it. Until COD4 comes out, I know what everyone and their grannies will be playing. Is this the same as Halo 2, or is there enough of a difference that I have a snowball's chance of at least enjoying it.


Also, did anyone spring for BlazingSaddlesAngels II? The first one reeked. Is this one any better, or do i save my money? I never see it being played on my FL, so maybe I already know the answer. I do plan on getting Ace Combat and PGR4. Anyone have any insight on these? Are there other games that are worth looking into? Stuntman? Dirt? Juiced? I don't always trust the reviews, and I'm not into RTG.

I love the Halo games, but I am also a non-competitive type gamer. If you want to just chill out and have fun in Co-Op or custom games, then shoot me a invite.

So okay TexasTwister I would love to spend time with you so you could learn some appreciation of Halo. It is something, like most things, that require time to get good at. I am two years younger than you and I know my fingers can't keep up with my son when playing the game. I am full of encouragement (or is it simply I am full of it?) when play with others. I'll shoot a FR your way soon, or if you wish you could FR me at the gamer tag \"I Am LM2\".

Hey TT,I really like Halo but I suck at it!Put me down for a co op partner if you want.I hope a lot of guys from the clan get into it so we can have some fun,not too competitive matches.It does play a lot like CoD except you can jump 15ft in the air LOL

I can teach you how to lose! I am a charter member of the Incompetent Halo Players League. My goal is not not be in the room and not have 0 or 1. Sometimes my goal is not met...

I can tell you about Stuntman. Save your money. I played the demo for Ace Combat and it seemed a good play. It is on my to buy list. I can't wait to see what the MP aspect will be like.
