To begin with, I'm a big time college football fan. The first game I played on the 180 was NCAA Football. In fact, that's ALL I played for the longest. This was before I got on Live and discovered the joys of being curbstomped, blown up, sniped, etc. I think that was 2006.

I bought this game solely because of my football addiction, even though in my opinion, EA has done little to change the game. But, all change is not good. Look at COD3. As far as the latest edition of NCAA goes, I found the gameplay to be smooth. They've added some trick plays. I don't care much for the recruiting, as it is more complicated than I'd like. I liked the simpler recruiting. I want to play football, not spend hours recruiting. That's just my personal preference. I really enjoyed the feature that allowed you to create your own team that was dropped last year. As far as graphics go, I don't see any real improvement. In fact, the crowd graphics are terrible. The highlight clips and photo album are kinda cool, but not a selling point.

All in all, I like the gameplay so far, but liked the first edition I play much more. Football is football. Give me good gameplay, good graphics, and cut all the smoke and mirrors. They don't improve the game; they clutter it up.
