Frustration

I feel like I am the meanest mom in the world sometimes.

I have a 6 1/2 year old daughter, and I can’t seem to get her to do her chores for anything. She has had the same chores and same schedule for over a year now. But for some reason she still doesn’t do them. We also have her chore list on her bedroom door and on several walls in the house. I have tried everything from giving her rewards for doing them to grounding her for not doing them and yet nothing seems to be working! Any other parents out here have a good suggestion? These are the morning chores I ask her to do…

1- Go potty

2- Make your bed

3- Get dressed for School

4- Brush your hair

5- Turn off the lights in your room

Well that’s it! That’s the five hard chores she’s suppose to get done every morning.
