RIP KiowaChief

I'm kind of in shock right now and there is no where else to talk about this sort of thing. Friends I know in person still think it is impossible to be good friends with someone you never met in real life.....but people on here know the truth........online friendships are real.

A fellow Halotard, KiowaWarChief (KiowaChief), died recently. I just found out by checking his facebook page. He was one of my closest gaming friends. I never met him in real life, but we played countless hours of Halo and Borderlands and tons of other games together. He was one of the few gaming friends I had that liked fighter pilot games, so we ran through Ace Combat and HAWX together.

I never met Aaron in real life, but he was definitely one of my good friends. He was always down to play any game. He was one of the most easy going, light-hearted, nicest people I have ever met.

He had this infectious chuckle. Every Halotard knows the chuckle. He was an expert banshee pilot and would mow people down, and simply chuckle to himself. It wasn't a menacing laugh, it was the kind of laugh that made you know he was having fun, and you knew you were having fun too. Sometimes we'd get on Halo 3 and just battle 1v1 for while until other Tards showed up. It was always a blast. Finding creative ways to kill each other. Sneaking up and bashing each other in the back of the head. Always followed by the chuckle.

I'm really going to miss him. RIP Kiowa. I really hope you are in a happier and healthier place, playing Halo 4 already, mowing down noobs with the banshee.
