Not only does this beast have a new look, it also has new sounds.
If your willing to fork over the $400 for a new Xbox 360 slim Halo Reach addition, not only do you get a sleek looking machine, but this Xbox also has Halo Reach sounds. For example, instead of the regular sound you hear once you power up the Xbox, with this version of the anticipated gaming console, one will hear the invisibility power-up sound. Also, pressing the eject button, as you put in your soon to be released Halo: Reach game, you can hear the shield charging effect.
Other big news is Frank O'Connor, from the Bungie Comic-Con panel, also said this about a possible Halo 4 in the works:
At the end of Halo 3, and cover your ears if you haven't played it, Master Chief is in cryosleep. Cortana has sent a rescue signal, and they are orbiting a strange world. We'd have to be the world's biggest assholes to not follow through on his story.
Halo 4!!! That would be awesome, to say the least. I'm actually surprised this was even mentioned due in part that Reach isn't even out yet, due in part that Halo 4 would steal some thunder, but then again, he was talking to Halo fans, so it didn't matter. Bring on Master Master Chief!
