ON GOING TV SAGA

So after six weeks I finally got my TV back from the repair shop.  I got lots of BS from them they gave me the run around telling me they replaced about 4 parts in my TV, etc......  I was just on the verge of going down there and asking to see all the parts ordered for the TV.  I think my comment that I could have built a TV in six weeks might have set a fire under them, OR..........................pissed them off.  I got my TV back just in time for Halo, Yeah!!!!!!!!!  My sanity is saved from using my bedroom as the living room for the kids!!!!!!!!

Well, nine days later and my TV now has vertical pinstripes and is going red tint to green tint.  VERY UPSET!!!!!!  Now the repair shop is treating me like an idiot asking if it could be my cable signal, or if my connections are in tight.  OK, checked all that before I called you back.  Unfortunately, I bought this TV about five years ago, and then discovered there was a class action lawsuit regarding the light engine, which I had replaced under the original factory warranty.  This also prompted me to spend an additional $600 on a four year extended warranty, which I am still under, but it expires in February.  So I guess we will be getting that new TV, that I had put on the back burner for now.   So tomorrow, technicians are coming to my house to see if they can fix it, which is code for "take it to the shop for another 4-6 weeks"  As we are moving into the busiest gaming months this is more than an annoyance for me.  So here we go again!!!!!!

Does your extended warranty have a lemon clause? I had a flaming piece of shit Samsung TV and bought the extended warranty. After trip #4 to the shop, The lemon clause went in to effect and I requested the trade in amount instead of a like kind replacement. and upgraded to a Sony. Good Luck.

Ironicly mine lemon is a Sony. I'm shooting for an exchange but we'll see.
