New Blog Banner and personal revelations!!!

    A HUGE Thank you to Proving Unique over at Gamer Grafix for my new Blog Banner!!!!!

    I have had several revelations over the last several weeks and they are as follows:

        1.  Birthdays aren't as much fun as they used to be.  I just don't care anymore, if I get anything or go anywhere special.  Turned 41 over the weekend and didn't really do anything.

        2.  I SUCK AT HALO: REACH!!!!  I like the game and will still buy it, but I realize I suck at it, not a little, a lot.  I don't think I've ended a game on the positive side of the K/D ratio. 

        3.  In preparation for Red Dead Redemption to come out, I took someone else advice in their blog and got all 3 seasons of Deadwood.  This is the best show I've seen in years.  Child warning though if you plan on watching it.  This show says "Cocksucker" more than any movie or show I have ever seen.  If you took every movie I've seen in the last 10 years that used that word and put them all together, it might equal one episode of Deadwood.  So not one to watch at work!!!

        4.  I can't stop playing Red Dead Redemption.  This is an unbelievable game.  Yes, it has some minor flaws, but their is so much so right about this game.  I anticipated liking it, though I'm not a huge fan of GTA.  The diversity in the game is astounding.  I also bought Alan Wake and haven't been able to pry Red Dead out of my Xbox to play it. 

        5.  I bought a 64 GB iPad 3G and thought it would be novel to have and worst case it could be something my 9 year old son could screw around on with some games etc....  I have now realized that I can't live without this device.  It is the best thing since sliced bread.  It basically has replaced my macbook, and I carry it everywhere, and use it all the time.  It's that amazing, and the battery lasts forever.
