Blogging's relaxation benefits...

Well, it's been a while since I've been just super active on this site.  I started out 2012 married for 18 years, a job I'd had for 7 years and a fairly nice house. I'm ending 2012 living with my girlfriend, working hourly contract and the house is gone.  It's been one crazy year, yep.  But with the exception of me not seeing my children as much, I think things are better. The woman I'm in a relationship with is a gamer, so there's that.  For the first time ever *I* had to tell *someone else* that they needed to quit playing their game and focus on something IRL.  It was awesome!!!  So we've just about got the 360's and the Wii's and PS3's hooked up, and we've bought a few desks so we can sit by each other for PC gaming, and I even organized the retro systems and it was actually her idea to connect them all up so we could play them anytime we wanted to.  Once we have a good place to do that of course.  Life is definitely not bad at the moment.

Of course I haven't been gaming as much as I'd like to, Mostly because I've been moving, but the releases I was  most excited about (Halo 4 and Black Ops 2) unfortunately released while I was in between jobs.  So I'm trying to catch up the bills right now and hopefully I'll be able to get one or both before too long.  Until then I'm hoping to start going through the Halo's with her, I might even go as far as to introduce her to WoW.  I like having a girlfriend right now though, so I may wait on that, hehehe!

So anyway, I've had a lot of good ideas for blogs lately, and I've always had an interest in this blogging thing, so maybe I'll give this a try for a bit, since I have a little extra time right now.  I don't even have Internet here yet!  Guess that should be step #1...
