Shared on Wed, 09/13/2006 - 19:57I just happen to be a really big fan of poetry, especially those poems that really challenge the imagination. In fact, most of the poems I enjoy reading some say are a bit sad and even a bit frightening. So, fellow older gamers, over the next several days, I am going to share a few of my favorites with you. Some are my own, some are not and some you may like while others you may not. In any case, here is the first edition. Enjoy!

Where from Here?
In the twilight of the young
Light of a fresh day I ponder
The existence of our fragile lives
Our meek creations glistening on
The horizon of the future
We create from the past
Nostalgic memories clouded
By futuristic delusions of grand confusion
Mass destruction and wide-stretched malignant acts
By people of irrational emotions
Hatred devours our conscience
And dines on our spines
Cowardice creatures dwelling
On the unfortunate demise
Of our expertly constructed society
What shall become of us
What has became of us
