I was attempting to have gold from a character on a PvE server transferred to a character on a PvP server. I found a company that does this. I signed up, got approved and was given the name of a character to give my gold to. Honestly I thought I was going to be scammed. I really did not expect to get the gold on the other server in return. Actually, I have no idea if I did, because I was banned prior to being able to log on to check. When I went to check my email several hours after the transaction is when I got the email from Blizzard. Banned permanently. Why no warning? Just the death penalty on the first offense. I am really suprised by this. Not only that, but I did not realize this was a bannable action. And really, i don't even know if this is what it was, because Blizzard has not as of yet given me a detailed explanation of the act that got me banned. I am assuming this is what did it, as the email stated that it was a violation of policy to trade characters, items, or currecncy from one server to another. I just can not believe that a permanent ban was the only recourse available to "teach me a lesson" or to resolve the issue. Anyway, I guess I cheated, so I guess I deserve the ban. It just sucks.
