Mostly I dwell on this thought because I really don’t want my son to become one. But I am beginning to understand, much to my chagrin, that this may be utterly unavoidable. I make this statement after witnessing firsthand a loveable, well-mannered, respectful, kindhearted, and mellow little boy turn into a raging emotional madman when playing Frogger. Each time he plays, he attempts to make the faces (this is what he calls it when he gets the little frog all the way to the top), and he can consistently make all but one. It is this last one that turns this sweet kid into a full blown no holds barred Timmy. I weep each time it happens. In fact, I am somewhat thankful that since the 360 is down for repairs; my son is getting a well needed break for the stress of Frogger. Perhaps this is a snapshot of me some almost 30 years ago. Perhaps he will grow out of it. Just think, years from now when you are playing Halo 10 on live on your Xbox 1440, and you hear a little bastard Timmy tell you to eat shit or that you are a punk n00b bitch, you may be playing with my son. Pardon me while I go cry!
