He's on Kwajalein Atoll in the middle of the Pacific prepping for the second launch. He jumped out of his butt when he realized that he hadn't forwarded my resume and asked that I send him another copy so he could get some "people together on a deal to make it worth my while." Worth my while? Duuuuude, that sounds AWESOME!!
Anyway, I'm going to get that out to him and hopefully the 6000 miles of lag won't cause too much trouble. I'm pretty stoked, and I tell everybody who has commented and left their opinions, thank you very much. It's been a really tough tme lately and everybody has been super positive and supportive. 'Preciate it mucho mas.
Like I said in my last blog, everything happens for a reason. We may not see the lesson in the situation, it may take a while or it may never show itself to you, but there is a lesson in every hard place. Trying to find it is the toughest part sometimes. Sometimes when you finally see it, you wish you hadn't. Live and learn, baby. live and learn. Let's see what lesson this stuff has in store for me.
Here's a lesson that you can read and not try yourself:
Never, ever, take a dare that you can get a monkey to take a peanut out of your buttcrack. Trust me.
