Destination: Beyond Comfort Zone

Stepping out of one's comfort zone can leave him feeling naked, at which time he should throw a naked party. This party should not take place at work, nor should the Google search for an accompanying image. Some things can't be unseen.

Managing to step out of my comfort zone a bit more lately, and it's not (always) the crisis situation I imagine. Joined up with 2old4forza. With no driving ability or automotive knowledge to speak of, my road presence is more like a Three Stooges skit. Fortunately, I teamed up with an amazing group of guys - thanks for taking time to teach, not judging my lack of knowledge or skill, and for not giving me too much shit when I fall asleep.

On the work front, I helped our Deskside Support & Parts teams with a huge PC shipping project this week. It was great to catch up with my buddy in Parts, but being re-introduced to muscles I likely haven't used since my teens is not a pleasant reunion... I'm getting fucking old. At least I'll recover through the weekend & be ready to start my new team Tuesday. I'll be troubleshooting a new type of kiosk in addition to the Redbox. More responsibility, but my supervisor says it's going to bring me out of my comfort zone & re-motivate me. I hope so.

Anyway, time to knock back this last tamale & fix some machines. Have a good one.
