"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a Limited Edition Star Wars Xbox 360 at your side, kid."
- Han Solo, Star Wars

When I saw the announcement today for the Limited Edition Star Wars Xbox 360, I was like a freakin' schoolgirl who got advance tickets to a Twilight movie... except I'm excited for something worth getting excited for. Already anticipating the upcoming 3D theatrical run, Blu-Ray DVD release and "The Old Republic" launch on PC (and, of course, the upcoming Kinect Star Wars game), I'm already ridiculously excitable... this is putting me over the edge!

The bundle will include an Xbox 360 console fashioned to look like R2-D2, complete with a 320GB Hard Drive. The ring light shines blue, and the console will play R2-D2 sounds upon powering up & using the disc tray. The disc tray also hides the secret message, "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope." The wireless controller is fashioned after C-3PO, complete with shiny gold finish & seemingly exposed wiring. Also included is the Kinect Sensor in white, a copy of Kinect Adventures, and the Kinect Star Wars game.

Here is the Inside Xbox video:

This link shows the best pictures of the console & accessories I'd seen yet:

This is an amazing looking unit, and you're right...the value is high here. It pains me to not be able to buy this one, but I already have a kinect plus I have the GoW3 bundle pre-ordered.

Think the controller will tell you your odds of winning a game?

pp2, I already have a Kinect, but I can give it to my aunt & uncle for Xmas, and we can do video chats & stuff. Jedi, I don't know, but I'm hoping that if it's fluent in over 6 million forms of communication, then I should be able to use it (wirelessly) with other devices. :)
