Life Lessons

I've learned in life that sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly. For the most part, this was my last couple weeks - but it was for the best. Sometimes it's necessary to let the life lessons sink in. First, a special thanks to Outcast & BJ, soon-to-be partners in crime, for keeping me sane. A couple weeks ago, my sister found out she lost her baby. As much as we were all looking forward to welcoming a new addition, this experience reminded us to value what we do have. The same day, I had a professional revelation - to trust only a select few, and to not trust the leadership. My path is going to take a different turn than I'd been planning, but I completely welcome it. On the plus side, my buddy Jax and I started doing a geek-themed Podcast. We've only done two episodes so far, but it's been a blast. It's been a breath of fresh air, really - something different. Anyway, that's about it... gonna pop into Netflix & pass out.
