Friends from Overseas

2old2play has really bridged the gap that oceans and borders provide.  I think it is amazing that we can develop friendships with people from other countries through this site and XBox Live. 

I play during the day a lot.  Some of the people I game with daily are in England and France.  I would have never had the opportunity to meet any of these people if not for H2 and 2o2p.  The reason I bring this up is last night I went out for drinks with vinnie2k.  He was living in France and we played H2 alot (fellow OMM).  He has now moved to the States and is temporarily staying a half an hour away in deepest, darkest New Jersey.  The great thing is there was no weirdness about hanging out or what to talk about.  Vinnie2k is a very smart, personable, and professional person (was a physicist).  He is also one tall dude!  You have perceptions of what someone looks like but you are never close, even after seeing a picture (now when he is mad online and chewing out timmies I know those guys are lucky he is not able to get his hands on them).  Anyways, I had a good time and appreciate that he is a friend I would not have made without 2o2p.

Now Dan LeCrinque on the other hand, my Quebecan brother from a different mother.  Yet another friend I would not have had the opportunity to actually meet if not for the OMM.  He looks just like his pictures and is a runt who should not be talking smack to anyone :wink: .j/k.  Just avoid playing pool with him as he and TSAIceman are hustlers.  Youve been warned.

Anyway, thanks OMM and 2o2p for the boundless opportunities that you provide.  I hope to make the LAN so I can meet more of the gang.
