Shared on Sat, 07/01/2006 - 09:01OK, I admit it, I had ever done any MAME gaming until yesterday. All my friends were doing it. All the cool kids were doing it. I.....I just wasnt sure it was for me. So finally, a friend at work made it real easy for me, knowing how lazy I am, and he burned a disc with the MAME Classic player and about 100 ROMs. Gotta say, Im hooked. Firing up Galaga in my home gave me a rush that only my wife is supposed to give me. Damn fun stuff!
On another front, we are watching a relatives cockatiel (bird) while they are out of town. My little dog is going absolutely ape shit for it. Now, this is a pug dog - not the one in my blog icon, the other one. She is a runt and is a very tiny pug. That doenst mean she cant be annoying. She sits right below the cage and just whines and whines. I lifted her up so she could see the bird better and she put her nose right on the cage. The bird came over and they looked at each other. I got the dog away just before the bird pecked at it. That does not deter her. I just really wonder what she thinnks shes gonna do with the bird. Eat it? Play with it? Who the **** knows. Tired of the whining though. We had to put the bird in the spare room and keep the door closed. Our dog sits right outside the door whining.
I have the next 5 days off. I have stated my intention of painting my garage somewhere in this 5 days. Damn me and my statements!
