They are playing at a festival tonight at 9pm central/10pm eastern.  The concert will be streaming live at this site:

Currently, Les Claypool, the bassist from Primus is on right now.

Just thought that any Metallica fans would like to check it out!

Does anyone know how to capture the stream to an mp3? And then share it? Because that would be funny.....

I don't think they really care about that anymore, although they were awful prickish for that whole napster thing.

yeah they were in pretty good form. It's too bad that they seemed to be plagued with sound issues. Kinda sucks as all the hippie bands on before them sounded just great...... It's nice to see them get back into their older stuff. I was really hoping that they would play a new tune... oh well we'll have one soon enough. Your welcome! Durty,Hetfield
