By the end of the weekend I expect that their ears will open too and that they will be aware of their surroundings. For the most part it's been pretty enjoyable with the exception of getting up at 3am to do feedings
One of the puppies, the male (I named him Hetfield, is the only male we had from this litter) is sold, and someone is coming down to look at the females. That will leave us with four to sell. We won't be keeping any pups from this litter, but will probably keep one from her next litter. Their coats are starting to lighten a little, and we're starting to see how they are going to look as they get older.
Here are some new pics... mostly they sleep, but soon they will be awake longer, and will make for more exciting pictures.
This is Honey, our other female. Honey was given to us by the breeder. Apparently someone bought her a year ago, and she wasn't able to get along with their other dog. The breeder has a stipulation in the contract that if you can't keep the dog, it needs to go back to the breeder. So, a few months ago we get a call from the breeder asking if we wanted another bulldog. Of course we said YES! For taking her in, we will get a puppy from her litter free and clear. We'll probably sell that one as we can't have three bulldogs in our house...
and for shits-n-giggles, here is a pic I drew up on my wacom tablet: -I need a new stylus as Lola chewed that up pretty good awhile ago.
I hope to have some more exciting pics in the next week or so.
