After having and playing both systems, some impressions.
Ps4 seems like it has more computing and graphics power, but the really impressive level of technology in the kinect 2.0 makes it a push. I'm probably not gonna play kinect games, but damn, bros, that's a sweet piece of tech. Ps4 camera is just arright, dog, ya know? The Ps4 blu ray drive is much faster, games install from disk way more quickly.
Both controllers are top notch. I miss the select and start buttons on the ps4, but the Ps4 has better triggers. Who woulda thought? The xBeastones dpad is great. The Ps4 controller is bigger than the 3's, the xBeastone's a little smaller than the 360, so they're about the same size. I don't find the joystick placement to be a major factor, I can live with either setup. Ps4 is rechargeable, gotta spend $25 for the play and charge for the xBeastone. Either controller can be charged from any USB charger (if you have the play and charge).
The Ps4 was a bitch for initial login, the xbeastone was simple. The xBeastone's UI is a disaster. If there's 360 to one chat, we couldn't make it work. I got tired of screaming "Xbox unsnap" at the screen. The party system is pretty solid, slight edge to the xbeastone. The mic that ships with the xbeastone is a world better than the pos that ships with the Ps4.
the xbeastone is easier to follow your friends into bf4 and wind up in the same squad. Th ps servers are more stable, but day one vs day seven explains that.
Value. Ps4 with a camera $460, xbeastone with play and charge $525. The kinect and decent mic for the xbeastone is worth the $65 IMHO.
If you can afford either, get the one that has the best lineup of games. There's not a wrong choice. Ok, wiiu and PC are wrong choices.

Well done! Sounds like both systems are gonna make many a happy gamer.
I know y'all like the new PS4 controller more than the PS3, but I prefer my old PS3 controller. It just fits my hands better. So, simply put: you are wrong.
XBeast1: such a fanboy . . .lol
