Fable or Fallout....hmmmm
Ok, now im in a quandry.
Fallout 3 and Fable 2 come out a week apart. I have 3 vacation days left, all of which I can use for these types of game launches. Here is my question: do I take off one day each week so I can play each game? Or do I put all my eggs in one basket and choose one game over the other to play? This would be an easy decision for me, but both of these games are right up there on the "me likey" scale.
Help!!!

Classic post. I've got the same problem. I already have requested Nov. 7 off for Gears of War 2, but I find myself wondering if I should take a few days off the following week or put them towards CoD5. \r

I'm probably going to put all my eggs is one basket to get the fullest experience. Between Fable 2 or Fallout, I'd pobably put the time into Fable 2. It's got the online component that Fallout 3 doesn't have.
If you take a couple of days off for Fable, you could realistically finish the game during that time and be left with just sidequests. I don't think that's the case with Fallout. So I guess it depends on what type of experience you want: a quick playthrough or a hundred-plus hours of gameplay.
Also facing the same challenge here. I know I will start with Fallout 3 and hold Fable 2 for a few more days. With GoW2 right behind, this is going to be brutal.
Hmmmm....I'd say take off the Friday after Fable 2 and have a 3-day weekend and then Thursday and Friday after Fallout to have a 4-day weekend. Or just quit your job and you'll have plenty of time.
