Halo broke my Xbox!

Halo 3 actually broke the graphics card on my 360. I was playing construct and I jumped from closed lift to street and as I landed, I got shot in the head, and plasma pistoled in the back. With all that going on on the screen at once, everything went all green and fuzzy. After rebooting the xbox, I noticed that it was happening again, and in other games. Funny thing was that it wasn't happening on the dashboard, just anything that had to be rendered. I rebooted again, and the 4th quadrant of the ring was red. Error E74, it said. Apparantly, this is a GPU failure. Good thing I have a Best Buy extended warranty.

So, the moral of this story is: Don't get noob combo-ed at the same time, by two different people. Ms. 360 doesn't like getting dp'd (double pwned) :)

Best Buy FTW! Glad to hear of your POP warranty, dont mention the DP as there may be an exclusion on that circumstance. ;-)

Sure blame the 360 on your getting pwn'd.

same thing happened to mine and they didn't cover it under the 3 rings of death. 3 rings of death is motherboard failure what you are describing sounds like my two rings of death. Hopefully you are either in the 1 year warranty or have the bestbuy warranty.

just saw the best buy warranty for the win. A lot of people have been getting money back from that warranty because the price drop.
