So this what i hear as soon as i walked into work today, which isnt that bad because it means a day off for me.
Though this will probably turn out to be nothing serious, but Schools are forced to take these actions after all the tragedy that has occurred in recent years.
Imagine assuming it is fake and something happens..........Heads would roll


  • The University of Massachusetts/Amherst Campus will delay opening until 11:00 am on 10/25/2007.
    This includes the Professional MBA Programs at the Kittredge Center at Holyoke Community College, the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield and at the UMass Collaborative Services Facility in Shrewsbury and all Continuing and Professional Education classes both on and off campus(online classes are not affected).
  • Alert: A suspected explosive device has been found in Herter Hall. The area has been cordoned off, and the state police bomb squad is on the scene to evaluate. The campus will delay opening until 11 a.m., pending developments, and no classes will be held until at least that time. On-campus students should remain in or nearby their residence halls. Updates will be provided.
  • W.E.B. DuBois has been evacuated and is closed

Hmm, if they had closed campus for suspected explosive devices, I don't think my college would have ever been in session. Let's just there were a lot of pyro and rocket-maniacs. I can think of 4 that were on my floor alone.
