Enjoy the little things.

SO i still feel like crap. Tired all the time...so tired i basicly live on the couch. I've been out to eat twice in three weeks, and was so tired i was in need of a two hour nap upon returning home. i'm achy...the serious, autoimmune disease trying to kill me achy. Saw the doctor today, who told me i have at least three weeks to wait and see if the chemo even worked or not. Lovely. I get to live on the couch because i'm too tired to go anywhere or do anything for three more weeks. Yay me!

BUT....

All of my plants are blooming. Flowers everywhere i look out my front windows.

It's warm enough to have the windows open and get fresh air, which always makes me happy.

The kitties have been extra snuggly since i'm home sick all the time.

The foundation that helped me pay for the first two rounds of chemo will help me pay for two rounds a year, which helps a lot, since it's $1400. per treatment. Best case, i'll get four treatments a year. You do the math (i can't because it makes me sad). Having the foundation pay for two treatments a year is a blessing!

My brother who lives in Hawaii calls me everyday with funny stories about his in-laws, who are living with them for six weeks. Not having in-laws live here for six weeks is a blessing. And his stories always end with us laughing.

i have amazing friends. i had no idea, when i found 2o2play, that i'd make REAL friends here. Seriously...this site is so full of amazing people i can't stop blogging about it!

i'm being well taken care of by a saint. No really, this man deserves sainthood. i haven't been able to cook, do dishes, clean, etc...he has yet to complain even once.  And he's a really good cook too.

The big things and little things all add up. They all mean a lot to me. They make me smile, every single day. Now if you'll excuse me, i'm going to have a Coke, some more of my Valentine's Day chocolates, and play some Halo!

Because i truly enjoy the little things.
