Upgrade, Part Deux

For those who keep up with the blog, a few entries ago I related the checkbook-emptying friendship I've developed thanks to my youngest son and school. Through his class and the bus route, he met a friend who led to a friendship for my wife and myself. Well, the guy owns a home theater company, and doesn't mind helping me choose what best fits my needs. As I said before, talk about friend with benefits, eh!

Friends with Benefits

No, not that type of benefits! The "owns his own Home Theater business and willing to impart enless knowledge" benefits. Who knew that having kids in the school system could jumpstart my AV set-up back into modern times. I managed to find someone this past weekend to swap an extra Wii I won at my company summer picnic for a PS3 (yeah, I got off on the good end of that deal, eh!).

MythBusters

Quite simply put, those guys (and gal) have the single coolest job on the planet.  Period.  From blowing random shit up, to fabricating over-the-top inventions to do stupid things, they have a blank check to really just let their minds wander.  To highlight the later idea, mix 1,100 paintball guns with the MythBusters and what do you get?  Art.
