Well, I finally managed to getting around to finishing Bioshock after over a year of it sitting in my collection.  The worst part was that I ran out and paid full price for it because I heard it was soooo good.  Man did I screw the pooch on that one.  This game is AWESOME!  I know it has been out for a long while now but  man I can't think of a moment in that game where I was bored or disappointed.  If any of you have considered buying it, go for it.  Regardless of what you pay for it, it is worth it.

 Okay folks, I have to admit that I was getting pretty concerned about whether or not I had wasted my money purchasing a Wii.  I recently heard some very good reviews of Boom Blox and how entertaining it was so I thought why not.  I managed to pick up a new copy for $27.99 at Blockbuster and gave it a shot.  Wow!  This game is tons of fun and you will find yourself competing with everyone in the house the first chance you get.  Talk about a sleeper hit.

Ok, I've finally done it.  I've rented COD: WAW to see what all of the hype was about.  What can I say.  The campaign is pretty challenging since I'm doing it on Veteran on my first time through.  To say it's been hard is kind of an understatement, but hey, I like a challenge.  I still can't figure out how to get the "Professional" achievement.  I use one shot on the two sets of  henchmen on the right side but I don't see an opportunity to take out both guys on the far left in front of the car using only one shot.  Anyways, I really am enjoying the campaign.

I don't understand the insane amount of hype that is following this game.  I've tried and definitely enjoyed it, but seriously, people are putting over games like Fallout 3, GOW2, Dead Space, and others and suggesting it is a contender for GOTY.  It is a fun game and very entertaining, but it can be bested in just about every category.  I rented it and am playing it now, however, I must say that I'm glad that it is just a rental.
