If you like a more sour cocktail, perhaps you'll wanna try the Lemon Drop. A little lemon vodka, lemon and cointreau and you're on your way to making some "homemade" lemonade :)

So, now that I have power I get to go back down the path I was going the day before we lost it. Trying to convince comcast that they've broken their agreement with me when I signed up for their service. They offered us Digital HD television for $29.99 plus the rental of some cable cards for my HD Tivo I purchased upon getting their service. Good price, our station selection is fairly limited because I don't want to pay a lot for TV.

Almost everyone I know is back online, including us. Sgreth got is power a few hours ago, ours just clicked on 10 minutes ago and we're trying to get back to normal. Internet, TV is working (oddly enough) and we can use our phone and all that. Now...to purge the fridge and go shopping (tomorrow)
It will be a long time before I'll take this electricity technology for granted again. Four days without it, when you're a heavily reliant internet family is tough.

Well, we're on the fourth day without power. Last night was a bit rough for me, as I went to check the fuel/oil in the generator and noticed (after turning it off) that the pull cord had snapped. So, at 5 a.m. I had to disassemble the generators power cord system, get the cord back through the pull system and tied a pipe around it so I could pull it. Then I got it started back up again.

Man, this sucks. I'm at work uploading my next drinking video for my video show because I have no network access at home. No, wait, I have no FUCKING POWER. Because of the New England ice storm we had a few days ago I've been without power since Friday at 1 in the morning. Yeah, my entire weekend was shot. Oh, and I've got family up from Oaklahoma for Christmas. They're staying for two weeks, arrived on Saturday to my house at 48 degrees F.
