About 5 years ago, I had to put down my golden retriever. Reba was the best dog in the world. When I moved to teach, I didn't know a soul. Reba was my only friend. We did everything together. The day I had to put her down was tough. Raising a family since then, I haven't even thought about getting a dog. Raising kids keeps me busy. The other day while dove hunting, I started thinking about another dog. Not sure if it is the right time or not. We are a fairly busy family. I don't want to not be able to give the proper time to a dog. The wife and kids are gung ho.

Went dove hunting this morning.  Didn't have anywhere to go so went to my in-law's farm.  They have 18 acres.  The neighbors have a field of corn planted on it.  Problem is the corn hasn't been cut yet.  Saw one dove this morning.  Missed.  Made a few phone calls and a friend of mine said come on over.  He owns a dairy farm and he just cut a field and is in the process of cutting another.  Went and scouted it out.  By now it is noon and dove hunting in the middle of the day is a waste of time.  I will be heading back very soon.  Should be about 20-25 acres of field to hunt with a lot more t

Being a teacher has some perks.  Four day weekend.  Wife teaches in another school system and the boys go with her.  They have to go tomorrow.  Now I just have to figure out what to do with my day.  Go fishing or shooting?  Maybe stay home and play video games.  Could go squirrel hunting.  Decisions, decisions.............

Okay, probably not technical but for me it is.  I have been thinking about Netflix.  the idea of streaming movies straight to the Xbox interests me.  I amafraid that my wife will want to move the extra 360 to the tv she watches and start streaming movies to watch while I am playing on my 360.  Will this cause problems to me while I am playing?  Will I notice a lot of lag?  I don't have the fastest connection as it is.
