So it’s another early day (4 am) at work where my shit is done and I am waiting to hear that no one broke anything I care about. So far so good.

It's not my fault.* Really. I am just renting COD3, and I don't even have a manual.**

Issues that I had last night? No cover/roadie run, and weapon switching. Now clearly I can overcome that eventually. But why is that after I die and respawn that I land right in the middle of the fighting? Let me start off somewhere safe, and let me choose the bad spot to get into.

Haven’t we all seen this? My most recent experience is with Gears of War. I didn’t preorder. Why? I really don’t like giving people money for nothing in return. Since they refuse to guarantee getting my game (or console… ) the day of launch when I preorder, I refuse to preorder. It’s that simple.
