It was a marathon session of MW2 last night. Once more, I opened a Black Hole of Suck, but was saved from ignominy through the efforts of more skillful team-mates. Early on, we were short-handed, and we had a tight game going against some smack-talkers who'd beaten us on Quarry. Matt64 saved the day with a last second kill to get us a draw that prevented complete humiliation. After that we had a full crew and all of them were way better than me.

As I wrote in yesterday's blog, I've been playing Battlefield: Bad Company's single player campaign, which I've found largely enjoyable. After all, you have to love a game which lets you putt into combat on a golf cart!

This "dd" is all that's left of this morning's original blog. While putting the finishing touches on today's blog, I accidentally backspaced over the whole thing and somehow typed "dd". Then, Blogger hooked me up by auto-saving my screw-up. See, it auto-saves like 10 secs after you stop typing, so whatever you've got on there is it. How I do the blog is that throughout the course of the day (or night, if I happen to have insomnia or wake up unexpectedly), I surf for links online to add. Sometimes, I'll add a bit of commentary here and there, too, to have a block of text before the links.

Had a little Modern Warfare afternoon delight with Reibo Monday. He unexpectedly got some invites while he was giving my copy of Battlefield: Bad Company a spin. (More on that in a future blog; suffice to say that I tried Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and kinda liked it. I don't have an XIM360 config properly cooked up for that game yet. I found an XIM360 config for Bad Company which worked pretty damn good for me, so I tried that game and wound up really liking it so far.)
