April Fools

Quick one today.....

Google has a note about a scientific breakthrough called CADIE, a high-tech buzzword packed artificial intelligence system that just went live, and will vastly enhance the effectiveness of Google. Call me paranoid but before the end of the day I have a feeling CADIE is going to become self-aware in the style of Skynet, HAL, or Agent Smith.

Apple Elitism. It's everywhere.

Yesterday and today I represented my company at a conference. Two things amazed me (one was simply mindblowing.... another blog about that later).

Stop looking at me, swan

Xbox 360 is bettah! Developers love Microsoft so it will always have bettah games!

No, PS3 is bettah! Try to fit the content of a Blu-Ray into a 360 game!

Sorry, I was trying to find some information on Burnout Paradise and accidentally read through a few posts at the "other" message boards.

Dwindling faith in civilization

Yesterday I went out to get the kid's picture taken with the Easter Bunny, who in the eyes of a 19-month-old is a terrifying giant stuffed animal cyborg who has become self-aware, Terminator style.

OK, who lives in Pittsburgh?

I enjoy reading through the myriad websites dedicated to exposing funny sights in Google Maps' Street View option. Dudes sneaking out of porn shops. People on park benches picking their noses. And of course, the hot chicks in bikinis sunbathing on college campuses.

I found another one today... well, I didn't find it, but I saw it on another website (I don't have that much time!!).. that made me laugh. I can just imagine the conversation now...

"I hit you with my chainmail disintegration potion rendering you defenseless for 20 seconds!"

"Nuh-uh, I dodged it!"

"Whitey" Bulger- too local?

My company is exhibiting at a conference in April and as part of our sponsorship, we are going to place an ad in the brochure and include a flyer in the bag all attendees get. Ultimately I'd like to tie everything together so one of the ideas was to incorporate a "mafia" theme - briefcase full of cash as a door prize, etc.
