First Pics

I finally got around to taking some pics of my guitar transformation. This is just the first step but I thought some of you might be interested. The one of the guts is pretty interesting. The color of blue is a little off, trust me it looks better in person!

Goodbye Guitar Hero!

Well not for good! I just spent half an hour taking my guitar apart so I can custom paint the body. I am going to leave the neck alone, but the body just got a good base coat of Patriotic blue. I used this Fusion spray paint, which is made for painting plastics. The paint works great, but I didn't realize that you have to wait 7 days for the paint to cure before you can add the next layer of color. Which is going to be red flames coming off the butt end of the guitar. So a process I thought was going to take a couple of days is now turning into a couple weeks! Oh well!

Finaly beat Woman

Well, actually it was a few days ago but I'm just now getting the time to blog about it.

No, I didn't beat my wife. I passed the song Woman on Hard for Guitar Hero II. I've been stuck on that song for a month or so. It is really difficult for being in the second playlist. Once I beat that song I ran right through 4 more on Hard.

Now if I can only 5 star those last three songs on Medium!

Goodbye BETA

I was not that thrilled with the Halo Beta when I first played it. I played a couple of times a week for the first two weeks but then it started to grow on me and I played more and more the last week. I even stayed up playing till 3am EST on Sun. night because it was the last day, even though I had to get up to go to work at 6:30 Mon. morning. I am definetly a little sad that it is gone and feel a little void in my gaming schedule. I didn't even turn on my Xbox for two days after the Beta ended. September seems a long way off. I sure hope there aren't any delays in this game release.

Go Tigers!

What an awesome game last night! Justin Verlander pitched a no hitter with only three balls leaving the infield all night! Last time a Tiger pitched a no hitter was Jack Morris in '84. The Tigers then went on to win the World Series! Here's Hoping!
