I sure paid the price for my little detour.  I added 2 days to my trip and about 1200 miles, 400 up, 800 down.  Then I get to gilbert's, and WTF?

I decided to see someone else on my trip, so I won't be home until Thursday.  Who?  Lol....  That's all....

I can't believe it's almost over!   After breakfast with Durty I start my trek home.  My thoughts are already headed in that direction.  Isn't it funny how that happens?  But I have done what I wanted, and enjoyed every minute of it.  i have heard and/or experienced what goes on with these friends in real life, and it is almost all good!  No, it IS all good.  Great people that treated me like a sister (or mother, however you look at it!  lol).  I have been in their homes, met their families, eaten at their dinner tables or at their favorite restaurants.  And I got hugs, galore!   And, somet

Sunday morning.  I am sitting in front of my lappy sucking down coffee.  There are thunderstorms coming into this area today, so I am not quite sure about timing and such.  I guess I will leave when I hafta check out.  The weather so far has been as close to perfect as one would like.  Driving has been easy with low to moderate traffic.

Today I have some down time.  I need to do some mundane things like laundry and, well, whatever.  Tonight I will meet my oldest online bud, DragoonTamer.  Or Brodee, or Brother Dustin, or however y'all know him.  I don't know if he plays Peggle, but I have to pass along a message from Smoke:  Play Peggle!  It is really soooo much fun.  Anybody can play.  Even me!

Now, you wonder, is it worth it to drive for hours and hours to see people you hardly know, yet consider your friends? YES! Today I spent time with Ice and Smoke, and daughter Jessie. Ice was a little under the weather, but she held up just fine. She cooked a nice dinner which was very good. Then we all settled down for a Peggle Party. Oh, yeh, Smoke luvs Peggle! We didn't play against each other, just traded the controller back and forth and played to everyone's oooos and ahhhs, and good shot, and awwww, too bad, etc. In other words, we had an audience which made it all the more fun.
