So in trying to get this workstation to be usable for gaming, and with my workplace injury, I needed a controller.

What controller?

PS4? Then I need to get a BT dongle/adapter. The plus is that I have a PS4 controller.

XBox One? Then I need to either get a first gen XBox One Wireless Adapter, or a second gen controller and that would still need BT. There is no plus to this - I don't have a XBox One controller, and the Wireless Adapter is currently sold out locally. It's also getting super bad reviews for dying within a few months.

Stopping by to see if there were some old folks to start playing some games with, but the site seems to be a bit on the dead side...

I'm moving from PS4 to the PC Master Race (I picked up an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Workstation with an i7-8700 and a GTX 1080), but I'll be playing Destiny 2 on both platforms depending on a friend or two that are staying PS4.

However, now that I'm on Steam, Halo is calling my name! I picked up the MCC during the summer sale, so once I get a controller (workplace injury means no more keyboard gaming) set up, IT'S ON!

So back when my XBL expired and I had no desire to give MS more money, I thought my online gaming days were over.

Now, I know how much hate I pitched at Sony, and it's all true, but when all of your coworkers are playing on the PS4, and telling you about all the awesome stuff you aren't getting to play in Destiny... Well, the tide turned and I bought a PS4.

So you can find me playing Destiny 2 once or twice a week in the wee hours of the morning. Now that my coworkers have gone their separate ways, I just do the Flashpoint.

I'll take all the credit for Apple releasing 10.7 on a USB stick. Even if it was over priced, you can thank me later.

Otherwise, after seven years here, it's time to call it quits.

Thanks for the fun times, great blog posts, and fabulous times on the forum. It was a great era.

Maybe if I win the lottery, I'll see if the Over 40 Halo group is still going.

Some people here might think that I'm a major Apple Fanboy. I'm not. I prefer to use OS X, and if someone spouts inaccurate information about Apple or OS X, I will correct them. I'll even do that for Microsoft!

However, since Apple has announced that 10.7 is going to be download only, via the App Store, I'm at odds with the stupidity of this decision. In a three second bout of creativity, I wondered what Johnny Cash would have thought about a mainstream OS being offered via download only...

Seven years I've been a member. Before I found 2o2p, XBL sucked. There were a few glimmers of civilization, but it was a great wasteland of junkies(anyone remember the MechWarrior guy that was always talking about drugs?) and the very foulness of timmies spewing excrement from their oral cavities was beyond overwhelming.

Even after finding 2o2p, having been twice bitten I was very shy to game with the peeps I had added to my friends list. Especially since they kept wanting to play in public matches!

As of  two hours ago, I am just a silver member of Xbox Live.

Open the mail box after getting home and it's some junk flyer and letter. In the dark I look at the letter to see if it's of any interest or just credit spam.

Oh dear. King County Prosecuting Attorney. I don't think this is going to be as good as the letter from the IRS.
