There is a pipe in our front yard near the side walk, that protrudes up through the grass. 

Anyways, yesterday, we notice that it is suddenly pumping out water, popsicle sticks, and paper.   Didn't really think anything of it, other then to have a plumber come out and look at it.

Fast forward to this late afternoon...  I get home, and there is no water or anything coming out.  Ok...  optimistically, I'm hoping that it took care of itself.

One of these days I'm going to learn to stop hoping like that.

So, on Tuesdays I work from home, and it gives me an opportunity to go have lunch with my daughter at her school.

While we are sitting with her class eating lunch, one of the neighbor boys blurts out "Anna got a ticket!" Now, Anna is the 13 year old daughter of my next door neighbor. She's somewhat of a tom boy, races moto-cross, and actually punched a boy out at a moto-cross track. She's tough, but generally a good kid.
