2 Murders these past few days, and 2 totally opposite reactions from the press for each.
The first, the murder of an abortion doctor by an anti-abortionist. It's all over the place. The paint brushes come out, and the act of one right-wing radical paints everyone who have similar beliefs.
The second murder, is that of a Marine who is home on leave, by a Muslim convert. Nary a peep is written or said. God forbid that the press condemns the act of any radical Muslim.
Here's a couple of paragraphs I read that put it best:

Rest assured, I will have prizes. I'll make a final decision tonight or tomorrow as to what those prizes will be, and post them on the blog.

As some of you may have noticed, I haven't blogged much the past (2) weeks. Needless to say, the past weeks have been complete chaos at home and at work, so my time has been limited.

(CNN) -- Saudi Arabian officials beheaded and then publicly displayed the body of a convicted killer in Riyadh on Friday, an act that prompted a stiff denunciation by a leading human rights monitor.
The Saudi Interior Ministry said Ahmed Al-Shamlani Al-Anzi was sentenced to death and then "crucifixion" -- having his body displayed in public -- for the kidnapping and killing of an 11-year-old boy and for the killing of the boy's father, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

Job is getting to be overwhelming. We are swamped with work, and none of the designs that we are having to create are simple. They seem to be getting more and more complex every month. Oh well.
However, management decided to reinstitute a dress code. For the past 2-3 years, we haven't had an official dress code. So we were able to wear jeans and T-shirts if we wanted to. Now, we are back to "business casual", which, I don't have much of a problem with. However, there is no "Casual Fridays" so we can't even wear jeans on those days. Suxor.
