I need the opinion of some hardware geeks.

Recently there has been a lot of conversation around a patent Sony filed that would allow a disc to be tied to a specific console. Rampant speculation around whether or not we will see this in the PS4 persists. Generally filing a patent does not mean that the hardware is forthcoming, but I have an idea on how Sony may try to implement this in the next console.

My PAX East experience consisted of one event; Gamers Gone Wild.

After attending the first event, I made it a point to be a part of team hosting the event and not just a guest. My plan was to get to know more of the people from here, but things didn't quite work out that way.

I was recently invited to be a guest on The40Cast, a podcast where people get together based on their love of games to talk about everything over drinks.

I was nervous considering I have never done a podcast before or used Skype before the night we recorded. It was easier than I thought it would be to get set up and once we got started it was a lot of fun.
