The chemo drug i've been on for over a decade just kind of stopped working the past few months. i'm running out of other options, to be honest. I need these IV treatments at the Cancer Center of Florida. But my out of pocket cost would be a minimum of $4K a year. (Yes, that's my out of pocket, 20% portion, not even the full cost!)

i joined 2old2play HALO and i could NOT be happier! i'm so happy i had to blog about it!

Things haven't been so awesome on the Halo front for me lately. Shit went down. Drama ensued. It wasn't fun. I found myself saying, out loud, "i hate this fucking game." But that's not true! i LOVE this fucking game!! i'm allergic to drama. i hate it when people cause shit to go down. i just want to play the damn game and have fun!!

Went to visit my family this weekend. Dad works in the Space Shuttle program, and is losing his job soon. So they had a big 'bring your family one last time' day, and i'm the only 'kid' who wanted to go. My brothers were all busy i guess. Had a great time, Dad was all happy and proud and introducing me and hubby to everyone. I'm really glad i went.

So they had a big 'bring your family one last time' day, and i'm the only 'kid' who wanted to go. My brothers were all busy i guess. Had a great time, Dad was all happy and proud and introducing me and hubby to everyone. I'm really glad i went.

One of my "Scleroderma friends" Cindy and i were talking about road trips. I mentioned that i hate going anywhere alone now, because i can't get the gas cap off my car by myself. (Scleroderma=hand issues) i absolutely HATE being dependant on others to help me do basic things like putting gas in my car. She mentioned this thing she has called a Gas Cap Wrench. We went out to her car so i could see it. The name is pretty self explanatory: it's a plastic thingy you use, like a wrench (kind of), to pry the gas cap off and put it back on. I haven't been able to do this myself for YEARS.

*hangs head in shame* There's just a couple of them, and i've known them since the Halo 2 days, and OUTSIDE of the game, they are good friends and somewhat normal people. But in-game...oh my. Annoying, shit talking, LOUD punkasses. Last night i made the mistake of letting one play with myself and a really cool 2o2per. My head is still ringing. The Timmy-wanna-be was more obnoxious than ever, due to not playing Halo for a few months. The 2o2per was quiet and probably wondering wtf i had a 'friend' like this for and why i would subject him to such an annoyance.
