Jan 19 Tourny Vanilla Perm
Penni made me think of this format when we were getting ready to play last Sunday. It's another version of the Vanilla Creature format Fort had us do.
Vanilla Creatures
Only permanents allowed (ie, no instants/sorceries)

mmmm sounds more like an enchantment challenge.
I mean its hard to get rid of anything without instants or sorceries.
However , i like a challenge so i'll see what i come up with.

Ahhh, even tho I inspired this one (I think), I will be out of town visiting family this weekend. Gerry's son is being deployed to Afghanistan in a couple of weeks, so we want to see him before he goes. We will be in San Diego. Too bad that is so far away from you, Bill...... We actually played Vanilla perm before because I had to alter my deck real quick before our tourney. I had no sorceries or instants in it..gif "10")
I considered banning enchants due to Fort's point of enchants being hard to destroy without instants/sorceries. It may be a crappy format, but we'll see!

Got a few simple ideas for a deck but i usually want to combine them all in one deck.
I don't know how this works out but i'll probably have something playable next sunday.

I threw one together and tested it against Jello Tuesday. First time I've preplayed a deck in a long time! He was using a 'regular' classic deck, and we each won a game. We'll see how it workds on Sunday...
