Norman Osborn ISN'T Iron Patriot?! GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY.
Rumor has it that it might not be Iron Patriot. It's War Machine with a new paint job, courtesy of Uncle Sam. The scene in question involves the VP taking a flight to China, with War Machine acting as his gaurd. Plus the armor design looks like War Machine with the bulky guns and launchers.
Now whether that's true or not, we'll have to wait and see...
I think they're going to make Red Skull into Thanos, somehow. He disintegrated and floated into the cosmos in Cap's movie, and both he and Thanos were after the Cosmic Cube. My theory is he needs the Cosmic Cube to get the Infinity Gems. I wouldn't hate it if they did this.
I will be in between jobs when this movie comes out. I can't wait to be able to watch this movie in the middle of the day with no annoying kids around.

We have a theatre in Tampa that serves alcohol so it's 21+. Only issue is you trade screaming kids for drunk assholes.
Have any of you guys read the 2 issue comic tie-in? It bridges the story after Iron Man 2 during the Avengers movie that leads into Iron Man 3. It stars Rhodes, and the origins of the Ten Rings, the group the Mandarin leads.
Also, I do believe Rhodes is going to play Iron Patriot, the government's form of Iron Man, when he goes through whatever "issues" this movie throws at Iron Man.
I actually just confirmed he plays Iron Patriot, Marvel already has new toys based on it, and Marvel has articles on their site calling Rhodes the Iron Patriot. I don't like this, Osbourne was Iron Patriot, just another thing that stops me from loving Marvel movies. I like them, but they change to much stuff for me to truly love them like I do the comics.
It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I would rank them 1>>3>>>>2. The story seemed a little convoluted and far-fetched, and the whole ending with Pepper made me roll my eyes. It was still entertaining and I will still purchase the bluray to complete my Marvel collection. 7.5/10
Just saw it. Gotta say I don't think I liked it very much. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. Some odd choices in the writing, like how come no mention of SHIELD? Given what was happening they should have been all over it. Wouldn't Tony give Nick Fury a call instead of doing what he did (i.e. Florida).
As a person who DOES NOT read the comics, I thought the movie was pretty good and my sons (ages 7 and 8) thought it was "awesome". If your a fan of Super Hero movies then I'd say its worth it to go see in the theater.

double post
I was reading some people think they have Mardarin in this to tie into Thanos in Avengers 2.
Very plausible. I'm not too familiar with the Marvel Universe but in the clips you see Mandarin with the 10 rings,
are these rings the same kind as the Inifinity Gauntlet holds?
No, the infinity gems and mardarin's rings are not related.
Hey, jewerly is very important in the marvel universe.....get your stuff straight....this isn't Charming Charlies!

Watched it on staurday with the kids.
One word review: Dissapointed.
IT's been all over the news today that it's the 2nd highest NA opening ever, beaten only by Avengers.

You guys know the rule right? No body, no death...

Going to take my 6 year old daughter to see this on Saturday. She loves the Iron Man character.

Wasn't over impressed myself, kids will love it so if you have them it's worth seeing. Anyone else? Wait for it to come on the TV. 4/10
