Looks good. A lot of folks over at fm.net are grumbling that there are only three cars in the pack that are new to Forza. I don't understand their point. Because the series has been completely rebooted with Forza 5, isn't every car new? While I was home sick yesterday with the flu and laying on the couch, I fired up Forza 4 and did a couple of rivals events. What immediately struck me is how different Forza 4 is from Forza 5.
64 Impala, 240Z, Caterham, 250 California, Maranello...that's a long way from disappointing. I'm interested to see where they set the stock model pi on the Z and the Caterham.
Totally agree, I'm uber excited to get home from the office and give the Caterham a whirl ( Oh man, I agreed with Jones.... need to go get a coffee to wash out the taste of bile in my mouth) ;)
"What comes up must go down", I'm sure that's right.
Caterham's are AMAZING!!!! Hope they remain so in game.
I'm just not digging the way the open-wheeled cars handle...every one of them is loose as shit. I'm going to have to rethink my suspension settings.
I have a tune shared for the E21
I also have a tune for the KTM but it is only an A class tune for when i did the career so it has sport tyres. I will get round to retuning with race tyres.
But if you try the tune i have for the E21 it is far better than the default tune
Damn it Max, he doesn't need a tune for the E21. Beating his rivals time was almost impossible as it is and now it will be that much easier for him to beat my time.
Max, how do I find your tune?
I had the same experience when I was still using the controller, which I suck with anyway. Since I switched to the TX wheel with the F1 rim, the open wheel cars are much tighter, particularly when I correctly set the DOR on the wheel.
Parcells wont be wasting money on this car pack.
This car pack would be a waste of money for you, since you don't have an Xbox One and Forza 5 in the first place.
The Bird Cage was gifted to me last night and I tried it out. I ran it in the Vintage career series and so I did the auto upgrade recommended by the game. The car is fun to drive, but man the rear was loose as heck, I was constantly having to counter-steer out of turns. I suppose it could have been the sucky auto upgrade done by the game, and it also could have been the wrong DOR setting (I was using 540, perhaps I should have used 360). Is that to be expected with this kind of car?
That was my thinking as well.
Hey Zero.... just added you to my FL.
I used Max's tune extensively for Rivals on E21, and I posted some pretty competitive times.... at least competitive for me. I got a couple of Top 100's and mostly Top 500's. I've started to use some other tunes to improve on my times for some of the tracks that need more top end.
However, using the wheel, for some reason I get a whole lot more 'feeling' from the FFB when I use Max's tune. It's grippiness (yeah I used that word) at limits translates really well to the wheel's feedback.... feel's amazing!
It might all be in my head though...
Even without Max's tune, I love the FFB and feel from the TX wheel with the E21. I look forward to how it feels with Max's tune.
The Caterham is a weird kinda squirley........
Go into upgrade, load tune, then you can search gamertag. You have to be in the car you want the tune for to do this.
I have a tune for the SLK55 if any of you have that. I will have to make a list of the cars i have tuned.
