I dont want to buy a car pack
Last night while playing my career mode I started a new session and went to pick a car to race with. The car was something like 600,000 and I have over 3,000,000 but it wouldnt let me buy the car, instead it would give me a choice of a 10 car pack for $10 or a 60 car pack for $50. wtf??? I dont want to buy anything. Why cant I buy the car with my earnings?
Im assumimg it's showing you a car that's part of a DLC pack which would cost $10. The $50 would buy you the Season Pass to get all the packs at a reduced price.
Those are cars that did not come with the original game so they are add on cars which need to be purchased in car packs first before being able to use ingame credits to get them in your garage.

With the new update that was released on Friday, whenever you buy a DLC car and/or pack, you can "buy" the car in game for "free", rather than the prior Forza system where you had to buy the DLC and then buy the car in-game using credits and/or tokens.
