Wheels, there has been nothing new on Fanatec wheel compatibility with Xbox One since this post from Fanatec's Facebook page in November 2013. The adapter for existing wheels is not going to happen. My personal speculation, based on this post, is that Fanatec is looking at making a new Clubsport wheel base that will work on Xbox One and PC, and that will utilize the existing rims, pedals and shifters that Fanatec already sells.
"Why is it so difficult to make your current Xbox 360 wheels compatible to the new console?
Several people have raised their concerns and we understand your disappointment but we also hope you see that there is nothing Fanatec could have done to make your wheels compatible to the new console. Technically it is probably possible to make an adapter but any device connecting to the Xbox 360 or Xbox One (incl. this adapter) needs to have a security chip module which can only be purchased from MS. So without the permission of MS we could only "crack" the security chip and this is not only illegal but would certainly ruin our relationship to MS and other platform owners. And we were not able to "warn" anybody about this as up to this moment it is still possible that MS changes its mind like they did on other specs of the XB1 as well. It still can happen but we want to be fair and tell you that it is not likely to happen. We never claimed that the wheels were compatible to Xbox one and please remember that all peripherals of the first Xbox did not work on Xbox 360 either. But even if we were able to make such an adapter, the development costs would be significant as the XB1 uses a different force feedback protocol and in our wheels the Xbox protocols and PC protocols are separated and use different communication (wireless vs. USB). Given the limited market for such a device, such an adapter would be quite expensive. Microsoft has good reasons to skip the backwards compatibility as this allowed to implement a completely new and more powerful communication protocol. Of course they are happy to sell new controllers to you and earn money on licenses but keep in mind that a console is about plug and play. MS is very strong to provide a clear standard for controllers and make sure that all controllers work with all games of a certain genre. On other consoles it can happen that your brand new and official controller works only with one game because the communication protocols are not clearly defined from the beginning.
The only thing we can offer is to develop a wheel where you can at least use your peripherals so you don’t have to buy a complete new setup. And when this wheel is ready, we will make an attractive upgrade offer for all existing customers for sure.
This was a pretty long post with a lot of inside information but I hope you can understand the situation a bit better now. I really appreciate your support and patience.
Sincere Appreciation Zero...Gotta Laugh at the statement..."We will make an atttractive offer for all existing customers for sure"!!!!.Thanks for the Critique!!!
I am fairly confident Fanatec will eventually sell an Xbox One compatible wheel, it just may take many months, or even years, for that to happen. That is primarily why I went ahead and got a TX wheel.
Same with me; couldn't wait for Fanatec's xbox one wheel, since they were non-committal on if/when it would be available. I'll be happy when the Basher adapter is out (it's apparently ready for beta test) and I can use my Club sport pedals with the TX wheel. Still very happy with the TX wheel with the add-on rim - no complaints.

Ageed, that GT-E rim improves the wheel by a factor 10. Personaly I don't like the shape of the stock rim and the weight of the GT-E rim feels much better. Now to get the CSP pedals working as the original ones are crap in my opinion, not in function but in feel. The throttle is to stiff and returning to a travel brake when coming from the loadcell is a complete no-no.
Basher just released the CPX adapter for the club sport pedals.
Here's the link: http://www.basherboards.com/CPX
First batch will probably go quick, so hurry if you want to pick up one.
$45. US plus shipping ($3.00 in the US).
UPDATE- they sold out in the first few minutes. Next batch
will be available next Friday. Watch the link for updates. I should receive mine early next week and will post a review.
I ordered a CPX adapter yesterday. I've not used my XB1, Forza5 and Tx wheel cause I couldn't stand the pedals. So it will be a real treat to finally get on XB1 with club sport pedals. As best I could tell the " BUY NOW" button was available for about 1 minute before he sold out for another week.
Agreed Clletti, from having to say a quick prayer at Mullsane corner to oh here comes that nice big braking zone. Those CSP's are an amazing set of pedals I've taken for granted to long.
When I got the wheel I needed to upgrade the firmware for use with the Xbox One (big sticker on the bag of the rim said so), followed the instruction in the manual and on the website and it automaticly directed me to this firmware/driverset. I think there is a possibillity that those who got the wheel before me run an older firmware and might want to upgrade again. If I remember corectly Bash said he couldn't get a signal from/for the clutch.
Conect your wheel to the pc, open its property page and the firmware and driver version should be on the top left of the first tab.

Just my $0.02
You just scared the bejeezes out of Parcells, that wouldn't be pretty.
Received my CPX adapter and it works great (not that I had any doubts, as Basher's reputation for quality products is well known).
I'm in heaven with my Club Sport Pedals and the TX wheel on FM5. Now, if I could just go faster...

If you guys didn't allready know: the clutch pedal WORKS! with
Firmware of the wheel 45.B9
Driver for win 7 2.7.99.0
Z...What does that mean in layman terms??
