I got into both the Hardline beta and Destiny Alpha and was wondering if anyone was down for a game tonight? The downloads should be finished within a few hours and I'll be gaming until around 11 PM Eastern time.
hey, add me. I JUST got my hardline beta invite today, after getting instanst access monday and not being able to download it. should be on tomorrow night around 11pm cst or later
I got into both Hardline & Destiny; took Destiny out for a good run tonight (played by myself to feel out the game); definitely feels like Halo 2.0 in regards to play mechanics, but I enjoyed it. Didn't really get that much time on Hardline, so I can't give any impressions yet.
But I should be on tomorrow after physio therapy throughout the day.
The campaign on Destiny, to me, feels like a mixture of Halo and Borderlands. The multi-player domination type match however, played exactly like Halo. On the campaign I made it to the first boss type creature and got stuck. Perhaps it was because I was playing alone or too low of level, but my attack seemed to do nearly no damage on it. Hopefully I'll be able to play a little bit more when I get home later tonight.
As for Hardline, it's okay. It certainly has different play mechanics than Battlefield 4 did. Vehicles are much easier to destroy, which is a very good thing. I had fun playing playing last night but still unsure if I'll pick this one up giving that there are so many games coming out this fall and so little time to play them.
Played both this week.Neither game was that great...nothing that new and exciting(have we done it all in video games?) Both are early versions so maybe the later versions will show something else?

I'm up for some co-op on Hardline.....
Pretty much. The next leap is in how it's delivered with VR. We'll still be fighting dragons, flying spaceships and shooting shit.
