abour to get GT6, questions
Hey guys,
I just pulled the trigger on the fanatec forza csr wheelset, so I'm on my way ro GT 6.
So a couple questions,
Do I get the basic edition or should I get a premium edition, if so, then which one?
Do I need to have a PS Plus(?) subscription to play online?
Do I need to know anything about the fanatec wheel? Does it wok correctly?
I would buy the anniversary edition which gives you a few more cars that are not available in the base....not sure if there is a better edition
no you don't need to pay for online
csr wheel should work fine the only issue is there is no fanatec support, meaning that there is no fanatec option to remap buttons and you will have to use a Logitech profile
hopd that helps.....good purchase gt6 IMO is one the best well rounded games with the most options currently available on console or PC. There's still a few features to come in future patches that will enhance the game even further
Yea you will have to use the G25 profile for the fanatec in the game and map at least horn, wipers, high/low beams. Will you be using for fm4 also?
I have the CSR Weel also and like brnt indicated, using that setting work just fine. you will need to play with the ffb settings a bit to get to your liking but it will work just fine. If you can find the anniversary edition, get it. It will come with 35 good cars right out of the gate which will help you get through the seasonals without having to spend many credits. Let us know once you get set up and we can guide you the rest of the way.
Lol thats alot of racing! Lots and lots to do in gt6 hold off a bit on iracing and enjoy gt. I have a free one yr sub if you want to checkout iracing.
A free 1 year sub?! I want that! I just re upped for one month and had a ball racing today at mid Ohio with the GBR guys. Great stuff!
