Was in a random lobby with Drivebye the other night and one of our newer members (Amber) was slower to pick a car ( random track A class lobby) and I made a quick joke about him having a problem deciding on a car and he said he didn't have many cars.
So, useful info recovered from this that wasn't aware of, why are the new guys so shy sometimes(?), sent him some cars last night hopefully they are driveable, some of my favorite A classsers.
Point being, should we put up some kind of a post somewhere that deals with this aspect of new players, new to game poeple, or even, like Skiwinv's issue, corrupted saves, and have a pinned thread on cars needed or wanted? There's a few wandering around here so fat with credits it's enbarassing and we have had some new people join that might have bare garages?

I would be more than happy to help some people out. I have pretty much all the cars I wanted so I have some credits to buy and donate some cars.

Perhaps you gentlemen, and I use that word loosely, have missed some of the superficial often condecending constructive criticism Parcells offers to our fine members.
Case in point, this idea is a great one, keep up the good work fellas.

I often say to people if they need any cars or credits let me know but as you say sometimes they might be shy to ask.
A few of us are sitting on stupid amounts of credits and dont mind buying cars etc.

I don't want to co-opt Oldschool's idea because it's a good one and quite helpful. However, I'd like to offer perhaps an expansion of it. So, Oldschool's post started with noticing one of the newer guys taking longer to pick his car in the lobby. I too suffer from that afliction ;).
My problem though, isn't that I don't have enough cars or credits. It's that I don't have enough of an encyclopedic knowledge of all the cars in all the class for all the tracks that are competitive ones to pick for a particular lobby. Not to mention tunes on top of that.
Would anyone be interested in participating if I put together a spreadsheet that has all the classes, and a categorization of grip/normal/speed tracks and everyone could enter their 'GoTo' car for that class/track configuration?
We could also have another list that classifies each track as grip/normal/speed?
Beyond that, if we could make the tunes for those car selections available on each of our storefronts for each other to have access to would be even more helpful.
Amber drives for MPR and i wouldnt mind if Amber sent me a message if he needed cars or tunes.

Psybertech has an online Forza 4 car list as well. It's just missing the cars from the September Pennzoil car pack.

Both lists have a column that tells you if the car is on the game disc and if not which DLC pack it's in. Useful information when gifting.

This is the whole reason I avoid gizzies track night or any open lobby for that matter I can't tune fur shit and would love to give different cars a go.
I just want to run in the pack and have fun but my lack of cars that have a decent tune stops me.
Bambams idea would get me in more lobby's

I have plenty of tunes on my SF but i dont have all of them on there, if you need a tune for a specific car just ask, if i, or other tuners, dont have it on our SF send the car over, i will tune it and send it back.
We are all here to help other members, be it tuning or painting, plenty of us do both.
