This is the whole reason I avoid gizzies track night or any open lobby for that matter I can't tune fur shit and would love to give different cars a go.

I just want to run in the pack and have fun but my lack of cars that have a decent tune stops me.

Bambams idea would get me in more lobby's

Also I can help with getting cars for the guys I have spare creds

This is exactly why you should do the track nights. if you see a tune you like, ask about it. If you see a car you might like someone will make it happen.  So join the fun 22

Cool.... that's great news... Thanks Stevie for letting me know that I'm  not alone..... and thanks Jones for offering to be a guinea pig and plugging in the data. I'll put a simple spreadsheet together for the moment 'cuz I'm not a google spreadsheet guy... and not much of an Excel guru either. When I get it done I'll add a new topic and give Oldschool his topic back.... ;)

A guide to which car and tune to use for each class and track would be a colossal help to someone like me who can't tune and relies on the club garage to compete in lobbies.

I volunteer my credits/cars and help with whatever Church and OS are doing. I won't volunteer my tunes or paints only because I can't do either worth a shit. I'm sitting on probably 250 Mill. So anyone who needs credits or cars let me know. Jones that includes you. I know you help alot around here so if you need a credit replenishment, let me know.

Thanks, Cooter...I'm sitting on about 6 million after sending care packages to Amber and Skiwi so I'm good for now but I will give you a holler if the need arises.

They're all muscle car tracks. The trick is knowing which muscle car to use. wink

I'm down to 67 million, so I feel better than Jones. Hah! 24

Seriously, track night is to learn a track, relax and talk trash, and if you see a car that seems exceptional, or you simply like, ask.

Ask for the tune, ask for the paint, if you need to, ask for a car. Most people on track night aren't that hung up on winning, some of us drive obscure cars we never drive just to see why we still have them, or to test out a tune with live test subjects on the track.

I'd say winning isn't really that high on a track night list.

This is more bout a place for people to ask for tunes/cars etc on the board ( the thread that is) if you've been too shy to do so online (in game). Truth is, people work hard on these cars, and most really like to share them. I love it when I see one of my paints on track.

Like it better if they're behind me, but hey, I'm not picky. cool

Not sure what Church is talking about, but I'm just going to smile knowingly and walk away...

So, after all that Amber sends all of the cars I gifted him back. I now have several cars that I cannot cram into my F4 garage and an extra spot on my friends list. If you guys know someone who is short on cars send them my way.

I'm not short on cars, but there are a few I'd like for painting projects/just to experience driving them. This is a much lesser need than people without any cars at all, but I'd like to throw the following out there: 1955 Mercedes 300 SLR 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Those two are the biggies - I want to do retro-styled versions of modern F1 and other Mercedes/McLaren and Ferrari liveries, but such an idea isn't cheap. 1987 #17 Porsche AG 962c 1971 Ferrari 312 P Same with these two, but they're cheaper. Other than that its stuff like the Mazda Furai and the 80s rally Quattro, which are a bit more affordable. This is very self-indulgent so understand if others with more pressing needs get priority.

Sorry amigo, none of those cars are on the list. These are cars that I bought and tuned for a guy that didn't have any cars, but he never acknowledged my correspondence nor accepted the gifts. They are now sitting in my inbox because my garage is maxed out. What I have is a Nordschleife-tuned M3, a Fujimi-tuned Cobra Daytona Coupe, an A class Gallardo with a RWD swap, an A class 22B Scoobie tuned for Maple Valley, an R3 Enzo, a couple of GT racers in R3/R2, and a half dozen muscle cars in A and B class.
